Hi Arlene. Once I learnt to recognise Alliums (last year) I saw them everywhere, a lot of the RHS literature has photos of them if you visit a garden. These and Agapanthus seem to be very popular, I don't know if they've always been like that or if they just happen to be popular for the first few years I've paid attention.

Yes, ornamental alliums are, currently, trendy! No wonder! My own alliums have been fantastic thsis year, and am currently drying them off, to be used as winter/Christmas indoor decor. They are worth their weight in gold, in my opinion - Gr8 pic, Peter! :-)

I think there were not so many Agapanthus this year as last and the one before when they were everywhere~we saw Allium Schubertii at Malvern and I was hooked! I would say I have had my Agapanthus years though~long before they became trendy!!

I am just a slave to fashion :o)

And I'm a slave to "chocolate" plants which, thankfully, are still trendy and, therefore, readily available. :-).
And, Arlene, you can regard yourself as a trendsetter. :-)
