This is the most vivid of all the colours I know Sheila. It is very noticeable from the distance. But I like the softness in white and pale yellows. I hope your white will survive. Is your greenhouse heated? I left one in unheated garage last year and it died. Apparently they had a cold spell for a long time on Vancouver Island.

Not heated, no, but as it is a wooden greenhouse it seems to keep the heat very well (hadn't gone below 5 degrees last time I looked).

I just watched the local new Klahanie, and a visitor to San Francisco was asked what he thought about all the rain we've been having here:"I'm from Vancouver where we had rain 22 days in October" "So,no this doesn't bother me".
lol,He's a rain veteran.

So am I Stan. The rain is fine it does not bother me either....but the grey, low clowds are depressing. 80 and sunny today here.

This is my favourite colour for Bougainvillea. I have a white one in my greenhouse . . . hope it survives (we have frost today!).
