You too? So it's not just here, then! I was trying to stake my delphiniums in the drizzle - and the sky opened - hail as well as torrents of water!

Thirty miles an hour on the way back from Oxford, it was that hard!
To be fair, nothing is snapped, just heavy with water.

Yes - I've been out in a slight drizzle trying to rescue some of the poor plants, staking some, and chopping back the Aquilegias which lost all their flowers today. One of my oriental poppies snapped off, and a clump of Pyrethrum looks as if someone's sat on it! Oh dearie me. Too much, too heavy! Petals everywhere....except where they should be!
