Rose & Campanula

It truly is amazing!

There are still quite a lot of flowers in the narrow border! :-)) The patio roses have flowered ever since June, on and off.

It seems everything is mixed up with this mild weather. This time last year, we had a foot of snow!!!

Don't mention 'that' word, please! :-((

There are even more buds on most of my roses, but I doubt if they'll open.

Have you planted your rose yet? we decided to create a new bed for ours in the end, it is already growing....would you believe it?

Surely the snow didn't arrive till about 28th November, did it?

Gosh your Octopus Campanula has lasted longer than ours Barbara , I've been splitting my plants and have several more now ......

Thanks - I spotted them in bloom together late, and got the camera.

Bamboo - it's Campanula punctata 'Pink Octopus'. It sends out little suckers, so, as Amy said, I've been able to pot up a few babies. :-)

Dd - yes, I planted it as soon as it came. I cleared a place of honour centre stage for it! :-)))))

That's not one I know (Campanula) - I rather like it, especially if it sends out extra babies...

Some people regard it as a nuisance, but to me it's an opportunity! :-))

I will have to keep my eye open for the octopus, its is beauty.
my rose is in a pot so fingers crossed for a pretty summer bloom.

Indeed yes! People are saying their roses have shoots - I forgot to look at mine today.
