My Thai Dwarf Papaya is getting tall...it's almost 7ft/2.1m tall. My largest Plumeria (Plastic Pink) tree is in the background. Photo taken 17, 2011.

Most papayas are very tropical. They grow pretty well in most of San Diego...however, slow down to a snails crawl in winter, here. They can only be grown commercially in the true tropics.
