Is this Worcester Gold Spritz?

24 Aug, 2009

I don't think they have a strong scent, Bb.

Lol :~))

Well, it wasn't raining (for a change!) and the shrub is three steps from the front door, so easy-peasy! lol.

Which variety is that one - I particularly like the flowers and it's not like the C. clandonensis I'm growing

26 Aug, 2009

Yes, it is C. x clandonensis, but its name is 'Kew Blue'. I suspect that makes the difference, Bamboo!

How small are they?

28 Aug, 2009

I have C. clandonensis 'Summer Sorbet' and i'm still waiting for the buds to open up.

The height of mine is 2.5' and the leaves are a variegated gold and green and a slightly deeper blue.

28 Aug, 2009

Yes, that's about right for height - they are very small shrubs.

This is a lovely blue and very delicate Spritz.

It's not been a bad day today a bit cloudy but at least it's been warm. Two friends popped in on the offchance that we would be in. It's so nice when that happens, so we've been chatting catching up and putting the world to rights.

31 Aug, 2009

We've seen the sun popping in and out of clouds - it's windy, but warm! I've been re-planting my containers - just taking a break!

We all need to stop sometimes - nice to have a really good excuse!
