Clematis 'Shiratae'

I planted this one several years ago and it immediately 'died' on me. I waited a couple of years to see if it would return before removing it from my plant catalogue and hey presto, it reappeared! Hard to see in the photo but there is a mauve sheen to the tepals.

I THINK it is Shiratae Sticki. Most unlike me to not know isn't it! Trouble is, I planted it about 3 years ago and it just never grew. So now, just to trick me, it decides to grow and flower! Typical! Still checking...I'll let you know when I'm as sure as I can be...I'm sure of this...it had a japanese name!
