I love these, and managed to get 2 pods to germinate last year. Both are still just one pair of leaves, as it takes a few years to reach flowering stage. Have just begun to water them again, so, hopefully, they will progress.
Sorry to disappoint you, Sticki, but we haven't gone totally tropical, here, at least, outdoors. :-))

never mind you have landscape and seascape that is just as good ~ those hebrides are as good as the tropics i think!!
hope they flower soon.

Aaah, Sticki! The White Sands of Morar, dolphins and whales in turquoise seas. You're so right!! Looking forward to summer days out. :-))
Aren't they, 6d? Mine, when they flower, in about 3 years, should be a similar colour. :-))

Sorry that you can't be there, Sticki, You, obviously, love it, as do I. Will only post pics this year, if they don't disturb you, too much? :-))

If you have a sun room or garden room Clivia flower prolifically, and seed too.

Too many to list here, Sticki. The west coast is especially scenic, with the chance of some stunning sunset pics. Check out this link:-

Thanks, 6d and Amy, this may take some time. :-))
Don't have either, Mm, just my south-facing lounge window. I think that they will benefit, now, from being repotted into larger pots.

thanks david ~ this is a quote from that site ~ it sounds good to me!!
'The Isle with a song in its heart and whisky in its soul'

8 distilleries on Islay, Sticki - you might have more than a song in your heart after touring them, and sampling! I hate whisky, but wish I was going, too, nevertheless. :-)

probably be like your estate lori except very few trees.
be lovely if you were all there tho!!!

Won't be long, now, Sticki! No, it wouldn't! You don't want us littering those fab beaches and ruining those sunset pics, lol!! :-)
15 Apr, 2011
hmmm, not sure about that david, i have to confess i like being on my own and having beaches or fields or woods to myself is lovely. but i recognise im becoming a recluse so it would have been nice if there was a GoY gardening plot ~ a collective garden to meet up with others !!!??
