Coffea arabica - Coffee Tree

My Coffee Tree is loaded with green coffee cherries.
This Coffee Tree is in 3 or 4 stages of developing coffee cherries. Coffee cherries are the fruit that contains the coffee seeds which are called "coffee beans"...which are roasted to make coffee. It's 6 1/2 feet tall and is always in fruit.
The fruit is edible and no it doesn't taste like coffee. : > )

This is so fascinating.
I've had many cups of coffee, but not really known about the Coffee Tree. :o)

Terratoonie,
I'm glad you've enjoyed the photo. It's really pretty small tree...however, the leaves have a lot a brown-tipping from our hard water. When it rains here it leaches out the soil and the leaves come out very nice and beautiful without the brown tips.

Sorry, I asked you this question on the first picture I saw and you answered it here. Do you roast your own beans?
