Thanks threepence...... I remembered to put the slug pellets down early this year, also round the Nerines otherwise they wouldn't make it out of the ground:'(

I would be putting gravel and copper wire around it so those slugs dont get it.

Luckily ours have survived. We try not to put any slug pellets down because of the hedgehogs round here.

Wow, that's early in bloom. Maybe it's an earlier flowering variety than mine, or perhaps it gets a bit more sun.
