It's more attractive, I think, for being 'plain' with no spots or freckles. :-))

You can't beat the hellebore for simplicity and perfect symmetry can you? Add to this the fact that it's one of the heralds of spring and its hard to understand why some people don't grow them! Of course they are part of the same family as clematis aren't they, so that would explain why I love them so much!
