No, Brian, - this is one of the 'miracle' plants I rescued when we took the weeping pear tree out last year. I thought it was worth potting them up, even though one of the plants only had one leaf! They both thrived in pots and are planted under the apple tree...and I'm chuffed that they have flowered. :-D)

Thanks ,well worth the second chance

oh! well rescued! It's the best hellebore I've seen so far this year!

I think they're probably my favourites. :-)

It looks like one that mum has called 'tutu'. She sent me some seed of it last year which have not yet been set. I've added them to my wildflower seeds for scattering under the hedge...you never know!

No, although it takes ages, you could have some beauties, K. :-))

Lovely hellebore Spritz. I only have two in our small garden. One is cream and the other very dark maroon and they have both grown very well and have loads of flowers on.

That is a bit special:-))

Yes, it is, Ba. All the more so for surviving being dug up, potted and left alone for several months. :-))
10 Feb, 2014
Some of mine have been in the pot in which I bought them since last year:-( Flowering though:-))

Very nice shape, like a mini Clematis.

It is, isn't it! I saw 'Tutu' in the GC and they're very similar.
