I really like this plant. is it Houttunya (?spelling). We have one but, apparently, it spreads and can be divided. Glad you enjoyed the Oz garden. Look out 4more next year. Regards!

I really loved this plant too David until it spread it's roots underground and was a real pain to get rid of so I sprayed it in the end as I couldn't contain it. Best kept in a pot!!!!!

this is in a pot, and it looks lovely and as it has been served an ASBO (in pot) lol it behaves its self.

Glad it's got the ASBO Majeekahead and it's had it's orders to stay potboundover. It is a lovely and colourful plant though, but I don't like the smell if you pull at it and break the stems, and I certainly wash my hands after handling it in case it is toxic.

pretty certain its not toxic Lindak, in fact i think it has benefical properties... not sure what or which part, if that makes sense... i actually really like the smell... its very orangey i think.

Isn't it amazing how we smell the same thing slightly differently. Gerry says I have a very sensitive nose for smelling things and he misses out on a lot because his nose hardly picks up on anything.

yes i know what you mean... i quit smoking in Feburary this year.. and both sense of smell and taiste has grown much stronger...

Good to hear you have given up smoking cigarettes. Well done. For some people it is very difficult to do so, and they go back to the habit.

it was difficult, but it is a really stupid habit... i don't think i will ever go back to it.... i am sure i wont.
