Hardy tree fern and lacecap hydrangea. (Hydrangea macrophylla (Hortensia))

Vivid pink hydrangea flowering nicely under the fronds of a tree fern.

Yes, Jane it’s a Dicksonia, I have 2. Both need very little care, just extra watering really. I never protect them. Garden is fairly sheltered too.

That's a lovely Dicksonia there, and i like the under planting, looks perfect together. You are fortunate that the Dicksonia doesn't need any further protection other than it's surrounding shelter...they are fragile as i found out for myself.
