OH I love these Irises! I am allergic to orris root though. Found that out when I bought a certain perfume...and the first time I wore it I had to go home and shower...was wheezing and sneezing and coughing..it was really bad!
Wonder if it follows that I'd be allergic to these lovelies...

You could well be on the handling side Lori, but try using surgical gloves. I dont think you would be allergic to smelling them. Lots of varieties have a delicious scent.
