Waited 3 years for this to flower. Worth the wait.

Most certainly is. How many iris have you got Siris? They are magnificent!

Over 80 different colours, Olive. I think I have pictured 51 so far this year, more still to come!

Siris

If you could have only have 1 or 2 blue's what would they be ?

Of mine? For reliability and colour - Sistine C. For colour only - Mystic Rites. Chevalier seems as if it will do well and also Diva Do on both counts.
Sometimes it seems, they do take time to adjust to their new homes but then if they decide they like you, they bulk up and then there are flowers each season.
Oh SORRY, you said BLUES, - my name Dual Blue or Stepping Out (plicata tending towards blue/indigo).

Simbad Iris are a great gap filler for us before the daylilys start

Not sure Iris like to be stuff in between other plants, as their roots like to spread outwards.

Hi

I meant as a gap in flowering season , my daylilys like space as well ...

Sorry Gg, I was thinking when the Iris have finished my meagre collection of Daylilies will start flowering. Mostly from Simbad. I did not mean she was Meagre, far from it, she's so generous, just that I have a small selection of different colours.
