Buzzing bee on lavender (Lavandula x intermedia (English Lavender))

Yesterday, from lunchtime, it was very pleasant. Warm and sunny. Lots of bumblebees, honeybees and hoverflies on the lavenders, the rambling rose and the thyme.

Yes Kate the bees are very busy on the Lavenders and Butterflies are visiting the flowers too. I have 5 bushes in the front garden and they are great to have. They withstand the weather. I find that if they get woody I have to replace them. You can dry the flowers for pot-pourie.

You're right, Linda. Despite the rainy spells, the bees are in abundance! I've seen a few more butterflies too.
