And of course the old favourite winter honesuckle, lonicera fragrantissima love the lemon citrus scent in the garden with this in flower :-)

Thanks Lulu, these took 4 years from a graft to flower from seed they take about 7 years, hope yours flower soon for you :-)

This looks delish! I bought a winter flowering honeysuckle this year and it still has all it's leaves on which is great...no sign of flowers, but it is only about a foot and a half tall so probably won't flower this year. Mine is L. purpusii.

Yours is very similar to this one Karen but slightly smaller, this one can get to about 3 - 3.5 mtrs tall and just as wide too, yours should flower when it has some mature branches on it and the scents devine :-)

How lovely SL. I have a couple of winter flowering shrubs but they've never flowered yet..maybe they are still too small a shrub.
