The leaves on mine go flat for some reason, maybe they need a sunny spot like yours.

What do you mean by Flat? These leaves lie flat on the ground and the flower stalk sticks up thro' the middle.

Yes that's what mine are like, the cluster of leaves are upright initially then flop, flowers straight, just the way they are then.
