Just beatiful!
Poppys seem to be quite hardy! I also love the California Poppy very much. I very often see them growing along side the road in very poor conditions (gravel etc.) I have had my husband pull over and I have dug some up. All he had to use was a tire iron. lol! After the first time we always travelled with something more appropriate to dig with, just in case I should scream "STOP"!
