Phlox Laura

Phlox Laura (Phlox paniculata (Perennial phlox))

Pinky Lilac with white eye. Quite striking, which considering the subtle individual colours, is unusual..not subtle at all. It has a wonderful perfume.

Thanks everyone. Its a good reliable plant, not so prone to mildew as some others. This is the third flowering year and its given me a good show every year. Cant ask more than that!

Ah - there she is! Yes, unusual, and would need careful placing in my garden. Now where......?? lol.

Funny, that thought crossed my mind..trouble is it needs sun, and as I said, its a strong impact plant, despite the two gentle colours. I think its the dark eye that does it.

I must look out for this, as I have places it would go.....on my favourites.

Well you have possibilities Spritz, specially if those rooks or badgers get beyond it!! We will watch with vicarious pleasure to see how DD's border develops..30ft wide mmm, thats at least ten climbers..
