You certainly did well there! That's another special one. I love white flowers in the garden. (I'm sure I've said that to you before.)

Oji strange but true I used to feel I did not want white flowers in the garden but the more I find out about plants I find I am drawn to white flowering ones more often. I can understand your liking them too. Lulu I think they need to be raised up a bit to ensure good free draining soil. I used to have a problem with them but I think I have overcome it now by having them in bowls.

I think (and this might only be me) that white flowers in a garden do the same job in the garden as highlights in a painting. But, I've also noticed that when people come into my garden it is almost always the white flowers they comment on first.

I think I tend to see them first too which is maybe why I have decided I want some more. I have only ever painted one picture. It was of Kuikenhof Garden which we visited on their 50th anniversary. I got it framed and it hanfgs in our bedroom. I keep saying I must try again but its finding the time.

I know that problem. I've been retired for years and seriously wonder now how I ever had time for work. All these more interesting things to do. I can't paint, but I wish I could.

I did not (do not) think I can paint either but with the guidance of an art teacher and a desire to paint something that really struck a chord with me I managed a passable if not brilliant execution of the picture I did.

Would you enjoy giving it another try?

Oji I think i took cold feet because my daughter in law is an artist and she was very impressed with it as a first try and thought it was beter than she was doing when she first started to do watercolour painting. She sent me a lovely book on how to do it by one of her favourite artists but I never seem to be able to fit in time to do it. I think I would need to go back to a class to force me to do some each week. It was an enjoyable class with nice people some a lot better than others but all very helpful. One day ? Crissue that is so true white never clashes with other plants.

Sweet little plants. I'm sure I bought one a few years back...it didn't seem to make it?!
