Gold and silver (Pyrus salicifolia)

The weeping pear tree's leaves change colour from silver to gold just before they fall.

Stunning. Is it an ornamental or does it fruit? I havent seen one before.

It gets tiny little hard pears, Dawn - I wouldn't want to eat them though! lol.

It is an interesting shape tree. Had to see what size it would be. It does seem to weep.
