Totally lovely isn't it (even if it is pink)! On my to get list as it seems to be a Salvia that thrives in damp summers - indeed, it needs a lot of water from what I've been reading.

From what I've read it very rarely sets seed, even in its natural habitat. Managed to find a couple of suppliers of the plant though.

Oh wow I love this one Meanie, come on spill the beans who's selling this ? :-))
I bought a couple of new salvias at Malvern last weekend, 'Wendy's Wish' and 'Penny's Smile', I have quite a few blues and purples so fancied a couple of pinky ones :-)

Dysons and the Old Walled Garden both sell it.
Wendys Wish is a gem, but not fully hardy. Easy from cuttings.

Thanks for that Meanie ;-)
Knew I'd seen one similar to this somewhere just remembered it was on a blog of Spritz's a couple of years ago Salvia involucrata 'Bethelii' just had to go and have a look, remember I'd saved it on my favourites as there were some lovely salvias on it.
