Discovered this in a local nursery last year in leaf and brought it home. What a joy to find it flowering for the first time on my return from holiday! Bit of a find, not easy to get hold of. Seems to be enjoying it's dry, shady position here under other shrubs.

It's Canadian Blood Root Hbird. The leaves are also fantastic...a really strange shape. I love all the woodland plants though. :)
