"confusa"???? if that means what it sounds like it means, there must have been some problems finding its family?
copied and pasted the name into search, to see if it had a common name: Shoot gives it as Sweet Box or Christamas Box and says it has a sweet scent - but it also gives max height at 2.5 metres so I'll put it on a "maybe one day" list

Paul, I have sneaked on here 11pm. and all is well, except I had to re-log on, I am just checking, cannot stay away long! Pictures take a while to load! :~(
Fran, mine is in an ali baba shaped pot by the back door and it is 12" high by about 10" wide, nice and little and the scent is to die for. I get a waft every time I open the backdoor.

ah, that's different! I look for "eventual height" - even if it takes 20 years to get there, don't want to hand someone else a problem.
lol that's assuming that it lasts that long with me learning how to care for it!

If you grow it in a pot Fran, it wont get any bigger than the pot!! They are very plain all year round but worth it for the scent this time of year.

nods, the garden book said they can be stuck at the back of a bed, as they're nothing to look at, but ther perfume ...!
*s* I tend to worry about crowding plants, or not giving the roots enough room to spread. but then, once I reached the biggest size pot I had, that'd be its final home and it'd have to conform to that, so long as it didn't look too unhappy; i'd have to try to get it adopted if it did.
