No,but they can take quite cool winters. Not ultra tropicals. I would say they can survive easily ( one or two nights) of mid 20's or minus 5C.

Hardy to z9a. Its the hardiest of the commonly available Scheffys. Some rare Scheffys can take English winters..but those are more then a few quid or dollars like this one is!

I had one of these umbrella trees years ago but I can't imagine it living ouside in our climate.
