They are wonderful, even in green. :-))

These tomatoes were the last off of the 6 plants my daughter gave me for my birthday & which I planted in the allotment.
The little ones you see are Gardener's Delight. Gerry planted 6 or 8 plants at the end of the first row (there were 3 rows across the width of the plot) they are the only plants I've not cut down yet! They do have blight but they seem to be able to resist it better & still look quite healthy. I expect when I go down on Monday I may have to remove as much fruit as I can from the plants.

I especially enjoy birthday pressies which last well beyond the date - great!!!
Haven't seen the word "blight" mentioned, much, in the last 2 years, and sorry to hear that you got it :-((. Hope that you can pick a good crop on Monday! :-))

So do I, David! :-)) Apparently it was very bad down here last year but this is the first time I've ever seen it. The tomatoes I grow on the balcony have never been affected by any kind of plant illness. I've been growing them almost every summer since we've lived here, almost 9 years now.
I just hope I haven't transmitted it to them on my clothing!
