a smaller more compact plant compare with its larger more common cousin V bonariensis.

Have you got/seen the pink one, as well? I've also got a white one, but I don't like it as much as the other two. I agree - great plants! My purple one seeded itself so I got a freeby plant!!

There might be a few 'bits' left further down the stems - I'll take a look and see...although I haven't a clue as to what ripe seeds look like! Any clues??

think they might be small brown and a little cress like.
at work despite the cold :o(
would prefer to be rummaging around the garden blowing cobwebs away and collecting seeds and taking cuttings.

Lovely plant, grew hastata rosea from seed last autumn, love it :-)
You've reminded me, I forgot to collect seed off it, may look see if any left on though as haven't cut them down yet, more for the seed box, bit obsessive about seed collecting,lol.

Will have a look tommorrow and see if there's any seed left on it, you're welcome to some if it hasn't blown away in all the wind, let you know tommorrow, if you don't already have it of course, a picture of it on my pictures first page I think. Know what you mean about space never enough room,lol, I keep digging up more grass, just tell hubby its less grass for him to cut,lol.

I love the Verbenas, they're great for late summer colour, i have quite a lot of them and they show no sign of giving up (thankfully!) :)))
