Yucca variegata...... (Yucca gloriosa (Spanish dagger))

My new baby, a very well grown plant from our local B & Q we were in the store 2 weeks ago and they had just taken delivery of these, was tempted then, but resisted.......decided to go back today and guess what only one left!! lucky or what?

Oh I do things like that but am not always so lucky ,it's a good job you went back when you did ,it's a lovely healthy looking plant and shows off your beautiful pots and balls to perfection .......

Amy I was very pleased to find it as it was tucked away, I knew I should have bought it when they first came in...will keep it in the pot for a while, and plant it next year perhaps.....

Mine developed a baby, so now I have two like this and I've just planted them, one in the soil, one in a big pot. I love them but they are vicious aren't they! ;)

They certainly are, how old is the one that has had the baby K? they do say hardy on the label, lets hope it is......

i have this Dotty, do you know how long before they flower or maybe they wont in our misserable weather lol

iv had mine about 3 years now and might repot next spring, but even if it doesnt flower its worth it for the colour and structure of the plant :o))

San they do outgrow their pots quite quickly, I want to put ours in the ground next year, all being well.
