hi every-body up till a few year’s ago I never (in all my 63 year’s) liked gardening my perfect garden was slabs,but since being diagnosed with cancer I’ve changed, my garden has had a make over,with the help from hubby,i’m loving doing it.

I hope to see to how you develop your garden I hope your garden helps you in your cancer I find just sitting amongst plants very therapeutic my grand children call it a jungle lol.

A welcome from me as well. It's surprising how therapeutic gardening can be and as a rartitive newbe to this site myself, I'm sure you will find help and support from all. Nothing nicer or more therapeutic than gardening! Anything growing, flowering and spreading is better than some boring slabs, perhaps 'anything' might be a push, thinking of nettles. But then even those have their uses.

Hello Polly and welcome to Goy, you will find lots of people on here who can vouch for gardening being one of the best therapies there is for both mind and body, I like your little corner, it looks very attractive, what I will say is that you'll possibly need to remove a few more slabs in the future, just to make a little bit more space for all the exciting new plants you will want, its very addictive, there is always another plant somewhere that just wants to go home with you, these days even when doing the weekly shop a plant always seems to catch ones eye. LOL.
