After moving down from Bonny Scotland to the beautiful West Yorkshire, my first job was to tackle the unruly garden at the back of the property.
When I say unruly I really mean unruly. The garden had not be touched in 15 years, and contained just about ever gardeners nightmare of weeds.
To make things even more difficult, the garden was on many steep levels..and the only way to get all the rubbish out as down flights of un even stairs and through the bedroom , down the stairs and through my lounge !!! The same also applied to everything going into the garden !
Well I am some what pleased with the result so far..not finished yet, got the slabs to lay and some stone work and pointing to get done. But I need to give my poor husband a break, or I will be a widow. Anyway heres the link to view the process so far. Remember its not finished yet.

When I saw the first few pics I thought you were mad.
What vision you had to transform it so wonderfully. Its an inspiration. (How fortunate you are to have married a worker!! No wonder he kept needing a rest)

Wow, what a transformation! We have a friend who had a similar garden in the Peak District, you had to be a mountain goat to get to her garden from her cottage but the views from the top terrace across the rooftops to the dales beyond were stunning. I hope the summer arrives soon so that you can get out and enjoy the fruits of your labours.
