Agree with you 100% !! It's an amazing, unique feature that's totally intune with it's surroundings! Watched the programme this evening with my estate agent son...he said it was "awesome" too (and he's really hard to impress!) Congratulations on a fine work of art x

Looks great to me NP. Sarah Beeney never likes anything unless it's an alteration she's suggested herself! But then as you say it's all done for TV and not to be taken at face value. It might put some people off at first but I think they would grow to love it as it's perfectly in keeping in that setting. Well done!

Yes, good publicity for you NP! I love the piece and as you say, it's in keeping with the forest setting. Wish i lived near Thetford so I could see your work 'in the flesh'. Sarah sounds like a bit of a self publicist and so her views lose validity anyway.

Build a new life in the country~to be fair I think your Green Man would have gone down well with Kevin.
I watched a programme he did with the wooden house built by a charcoal burner in the middle of a wood and he appeared genuinely interested.
Sarah Beeny seemed as if all she wanted to do was to make everyone else look stupid and herself the fountain of all wisdom.There seemed a fair bit of I told you so going on!
I think you can be pleased with the publicity and the fact that the couple whose house it is really liked it~that is all that matters in the end!

I agree Arlene.....Sarah's prog is really about making a profit so anything artistic or personal she's not interested in, if it may put future buyers off. The houses featured are usually for re-sale.

its all about sarah and the money your right.the couple in question and i agree are a lovley couple.the amount of hours and we are talking hundreds perhaps thousands of hours that ended up on the cutting room floor are unreal.the fact that they decided to keep the house very early on ie 2 years ago.lets face it if they had of shown just the view or there stunning garage come work shop .i seriously said to allen firstly im going to make him a sculpture in keeping with the house and forest and if he ever sells his cars ill rent just his garage sais it all.lets face it just a hammok well placed with that view would be unreal let alone waking up to deer while your washing up is something to behold.allen seams to think they will want to do a house revissited programme.he said hes going to tell them wear to go in not quite the same words lol and i definatly agree.anyway glad you liked it , i thaught it was all about sarah and i never watch these programs normaly so im not botherd realy take care bye for now .

It sounds to be a stunning location Np...it would have been great to see more of it. We have watched Sarah Beeny quite a lot in the Winter months as we love all the house renovation progs.....but she makes sure she comes out tops every time, the ones she doesn't....I don't think they show them...LOL!

i actualy think allen stuck up for himself well if you actualy watch the other one though sarah does try hard to wee on his bonfire and she always has the upper hand because of said upper hand
