Splitting Cirsium
By Molethemad

Hi all
First time of posting on here . . . so be gentle with me!!
We have a cirsium Rose Beauty that's doing really well, but as expected of this plant it's getting fairly large
Does anyone have any idea if it's possible to split this plant in the autumn/spring when the season is finished?
Would appreciate any ideas
Thanks
Mole

You can split them when dormant in late autumn or spring. But they grow equally well and easily from seed sown in spring or may be possible for germination now.
