Olive tree

I bought a houseplant sized olive tree from Lydll (complete with phial of oil!) and it has grown into a 4' bush, but unlike the 'nursery bought olive, shows no sign of flowering/fruiting..The leaves are similar, though darker green. Is it an olive?
On plant
It has survived two ghARD WINTERS (i THINK) WAITING TO SEE IF NEW LEAVES APPEAR

We need a photo, but I'll just ask - does it look like your other olive in leaf shape and growth habit, regardless of lack of flowering/fruiting?

We need a photo to be sure! It's not unknown for horticultural firms, let alone supermarkets, to supply the wrong thing or mix up labels!
You are being very optimistic if you expect an olive to produce flowers or fruit this quickly though. A friend who lives in the south of France gave us a bush around three years ago, and we have no sign of fruiting either.
But when you consider that olive trees grow to 50ft and survive for 500 years, perhaps they aren't in any hurry!
