The main parent plant after about 3 years, they say!, should be binned. But the runners produced by parent plant can be left where they have rooted or carefullly lifted with a big a root ball as you can, and transplanted elsewhere if necessary. Remember to water well untill established. Its best to plant a new patch else where with the runners, or over many years, disease can build up in the soil, but if its your first crops of strawbs, then you can replant it.
