my brussell sprout plants have caterpillars ang eggs on from white butterflie.they are eating away at them.what can i do?

how do i get rid of the eggs and caterpillars from the white butterflies on my cabbages abd brussell plants. they are chewing holes allover them

Well, I've just picked up my binoculars, and . . . . yes .. . . . my wife is murdering them . . . with . . . . . 3 in 1 oil at the bottom of the garden.
Works a treat - she sprays it on. Doesn't harm the plant, and the butterflies seem to hate it.
She'll also use washing up liquid - a traditional favourite,
Her best method though, was double sided sellotape - that totally *uggered them!!!!!

Not sure it would do much for the plant either. I'd also be careful of anything like 3 in 1 oil around food plants

Well B checks our brassicas on a daily basis and removed the caterpillars by hand and squashes them. If you can actually spot the eggs you can just rub them off.
