I agree Moon grower, Bethyann keep your seeds in a cool dry place until springtime and then plant them out.
Good luck. :~))

Ian - welcome back are you feeling better?

Thanks MG, I'm fine now, a bit sore here and there but on the whole much better :~))

Yes, as Moon said, far too late for toms or sweetcorn now, but the seed will keep until spring. Lettuce you can sow now, but don't leave it much later.
Ian - what happened to you? :-)

No Bethy, plant some of your lettuce seeds now and in a few weeks you will have lovely fresh salads. Not to many though as you don't want hundreds of lettuces coming up all at once. :~))

Carol is that woman that keeps cooking my meals and cleaning around me when I'm on GoY. The one that was wearing the white dress when I got married! :~))

Unless you have a heated greenhouse I would say it is too late to sow tomatoes and sweet corn, even then it is doubtful that you would get a crop from either of them. Lettuce would be fine.
