Hi Mp......early in the summer I emailed David Austin Roses and they sent me their catalogue which is full of their gorgeous roses...all catagorized...free of charge. Since then another has arrived, still haven't made my mind up though ...Lol! Gilli has such a great selection of them too and has first hand knowledge......:o) I love the look and sound of A Shropshire Lad and Strawberry Hill................

Buy yourself a copy of D. G. Hessayon's The Rose Expert, its less than a tenner, worth its weight in gold if you want to select and grow roses. He'll tell you their faults as well as their good points...

From my own garden I can highly recommend David Austin's "Gertrude Jekyll", "Abraham Darby" and "William Shakespeare 2000", "Toulous Lautrec", "Sunflare", "Paul Shirville", "Hansa", "Whisky Mac", "Scentsational", "Sweet Chariot" and "George Burns". Those are my most fragrant roses.
Hope this helps :o)
