My mini surfinias have stopped flowering

I have watered them well but the flowering growth has died back - can I cut them back?

Agree with Moongrower, they are supposed to be annuals BUT I'm finding increasingly that they survive the winter here in London quite often. I'd cut them back, feed and see what happens - its worth a shot, as your climate's presumably even warmer than London!

They are annuals and have probably come to the end of their flowering life. Also they don't really like the heat...
