what happening to my apple tree

every year my apple tree gives us a good crop of apples but this year we have very little ,the leaves are very brown and got lots of holes .

Could also be a rest year and next year you will have more fruit. Irratating habit alternate years fruiting that some of them get into.

This could be late frost when the blossom was flowering, you need to spray your tree in the winter and put grease bands around the trunk in October.
