Why does my rose of Jerico seem moldy?
By Bumble
United Kingdom
I've placed it in a bowl of water, and it has unfurled itself, but after several days is still brown and there seems to be a white fluffy mold growing on the ends of some of the leaves. Is it recoverable, or have I killed it?

Its called 'Rose of Jericho, Resurrection plant'. I dont have a photo, but there is a picture of one on 'treesandthings' blog from January mine looks similar to the pic of hers open but still brown, but has some white fluffy mold where it seems to be waterlogged?

Okay, it's a Selaginella lepidophylla.
If you google it's name you'll get loads of info :)
Check out this link, it gives good amounts of information.
