winter pansys and spring bulbs

Is it ok to put spring flowering bulbs such as tulips,dwarf iris and daffs in with winter pansys now?

If buy - get the bigger plugs of pansy to avoid disappointment tete e tete and little gem is a good Narcissus for this purpose

yes of course it is. they make a fantastic display. just remember all those plants when in leaf will need a lot of water.

I quite often mix bulbs and pansies and primroses so that later in the season you get a continuation of colour - first pansies etc then the bulbs - it should look great!

Great idea, Zoostrel. The pansies will give colour through the winter to be followed by the bulbs.
You missed out on Crocus. Some of the Crocus chrysanthus forms will start to flower as early as January and could compliment the pansies. If the pansies die back before the bulbs are finished, remember to remove them carefully.
