When can I start growing seeds in a small wooden growhouse?

At what time of year can I start growing veg from seed in a small wooden growhouse (that I intend to purchase in a couple of months). Can I start when there's still frost about? Or is that a really stupid question from a complete novice?

This is a useful pdf http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/growyourown/Vegetables-complete.pdf gives inf on when and how to grow just about any veg. As I said when I posted it last time I think Garden Organic wrote it with children in mind but it is good clear and easy to follow. If you need more info ask again.
