potting on lavenders

East Sussex, United Kingdom

I bought 84 tiny cuttings from T&M and potted them on into 8cm pots using only multi-purpose compost. There were no instructions and I fear I have put them in the wrong compost. They are in my conservatory where it gets very warm during the day. What should I be doing to ensure success of these very young plants. Help needed please.

Don't keep your plants in the conservatory, they will grow better in the shade outside. Don't worry about the compost you have put them in it will give them a good start with the root system. Do not overwater them.
