Could you please advice what could be eating my fuschia's leafs. And what I can do to stop and prevent it in the future?

United Kingdom

I have fuscia's in my front garden, and every leaf has had the edges eaten away.

Im guessing at slugs/snails
I currently have in variuos places around the garden bowls of beer, just shallow bowls near effected areas,
seems to be working quite well so far!!

find it a lot better for the enviroment and other creatures with regards to the food chain than pellets

but to be warned there is also the horrible problem with fuchsias

Could also be vine weevils.

isn't there something called a leaf cutter bee that eats scallop shapes out of the leaves?

Either you are lucky enough to have solitary bees living in your garden or you have the dreaded vine weevil.
Check the soil for white grubs with brown heads. Squash any that you find, then treat the soil with a vine weevil killer.
I hope that it turns out to be bees. Their leaf cutting tend to be more perfect semi circles than vine weevils. Really need to see the leaf to help any more.
Good luck and happy gardening
