let them die off and dry out before summer and they have been sat in dry pots in mini green house---repotted the corms and no signs yet after 6 weeks--will they start or have they "had it"?

there are also hardy spring flowers cyclamen and they too should be left in the ground all year.

Which kind of cyclamen are you speaking of, the houseplant, large ones, the small outdoor temporary ones, or the hardy autumn cyclamen?
If the houseplant, they should have been kept in the pots and watered a bit occasionally, the temporary ones don't usually survive more than a season very often, and the hardy autumn flowering ones should be left in the ground year on year.
