What do I do when a cyclamen has stopped flowering so that I can keep it till next year.

Stop watering. Allow to dry off somewhere cool and dark, then repot in fresh compost. Water from below or the plant may fail due to the corm being too damp. Personally me and indoor cyclamen do not get on well. I might be tempted if I see a spectacular one. I think you have to have green cyclamen fingers to successfully have repeat flowering. The smaller cyclamen do very well outside in troughs and pots.

I've given up on them as houseplants, as they like a cooler temperature than I do! I keep mine in the greenhouse, to cheer me up if I'm out there.
