can i take rose and shrus cuttings now even though they still have leaves on, do i take all the leaves off or leave a few on the top?

Took mine three weeks ago and they look fine. Also took some fig cuttings and Acca or Feijoa ones. With hardwood cuttings, it's just a question of them making a few roots during the dormant season. I do all of mine in large pots in the polytunnel as I find this works better than just putting them in a trench outside. Also they are easier to move and pot on later.
