how well do ceanothus take to being taken out and moved to a new spot in my garden?

On plant Ceanothus

Answers

Depends how old it is and whether the new position will suit it - if it was only planted this year, should be fine.

Or you could take cuttings and plant one of them later. This is a good idea anyway, in case the 'moved' plant dies. They root quicky if taken in September.

How do I say thanks?
